The state committee for resolving the issues of Pak migrants - with all its three-tiers (state, divisions & districts)- has been reactivated through a notification by state government. The meeting of divisional committee (Jodhpur division) is held on 5th October 2015 at Jodhpur in the chair of Commissioner Jodhpur division wherein all the concerned officials of division and districts including IG, SPs and District Collectors participated. Seemant Lok Sangathan/UJAS is also member of the committee as representatives of migrant community. Hindu Singh Sodha participated in the meeting and presented the plight of migrants. Officials discussed various aspects aimed at improving the administrative practices at ground making migrant friendly at possible extent. Hope such kind of meetings will help to create conducive environment helping migrants to be rehabilitated and integrated.
